Dear Support,
I’ve recently downloaded Sweetdate theme and am in the process of configuring it. In the carshare demo theme, there are 3 fields that the search form on the main page uses: car type, from and to. I’d like to configure my search form similarly but when trying to configure BuddyPress I found there is only 1 matching field available.
Can you please advise how multiple fields can be used in the search form?
Thank you,
Norbert

Thank you for your quick response. I’ve got that bit but I am not sure how to use them in search because there is only one ‘Matching Field’ in Buddypress and not 3 (‘Car type’, ‘from’ and ‘to’). So, how can I use more than one field in matching?
More broadly speaking, is there any documentation available which explains how ‘Age Range’, ‘Numeric field’, ‘Sex Field, ‘Age Field’ and ‘Matching field’ work and how can they be customised, please?
Thank you,February 6, 2016 at 21:45 #102443LauraModeratorHello, the matching fields are usually “I am a” and “Looking for a” Because they should match the user search/profile with other user profiles
– For example, you can use it like:
I am a: Graphic Designer
Looking for a: Web DesignerThen web designers looking for graphic designers will appear and also will be able to match at the match circle of the profile, as both are looking for both.
What you could use is: “I am a” ( Driver / Traveler ) for both i am a and looking for.
Age range is the field that will work as “From x to x”
Numeric field is a numeric field, will use numbers
Sex field is the field that will work as the identity, for example, its usually “I am a”
Age field is the field that will be the birthday of the user, usually “Birthday”Hi there!!! Help others from the community and mark any reply as solution if it solved your question. Mark as a solutionLaura Solanes - Graphic Designer and Web Designer
