Hello! I pointed the registration page to my landing page but I fail to understand how to edit it. The only thing I can see is the registration form and sign up button. But how do I add text or images above the form? And how do I remove the side bar from the registration page?
Thanks for the help 🙂
February 7, 2016 at 17:14 #102520sharmstrModeratorBuddypress uses php templates to display the page. This all happens in the background, not using standard WP pages. So at this time, you cant customize it, beyond adding extra registration fields, unless you know php and wp templates. Kleo 4.0 will give you a shortcode that you can put on any page. to display the register form. Kleo 4.0 will be released soon.
To remove the sidebar from the registration page, change the page layout in Theme Options > Buddypress.

What I’m trying to do is to make a home page similar to Facebook where the login and register form is on the same page with a little text and some images. I have followed the this guide:
But I’m stuck on the editing of register.php on part 2. Perhaps this guide doesnt work with the Kleo theme?

February 8, 2016 at 21:54 #102798alexplex86ParticipantHello! Thanks for all the help! But I still have a question. How copied the register.php to the child theme directory but I dont see any changes? Is it correct to copy the whole buddypress/members directories so it correspondents to the parent folder hierarchy? See screenshot. Or should I simply copy the register.php to the root of kleo-child? Either way I cant get it to work.
