After last update all body font is not bold. Tried using css to change font weight but still did not work. Is this a known issue?
Thanks

February 20, 2016 at 02:40 #105259rawboxParticipantHi Laura,
I have bold applied in font settings under body in theme settings. I also have the following custom css:
body {
font-weight: bold!important;
}And yet right after the update, no body font is bold anymore even though both these settings ask for bold. This is true through out the website.
Thanks

Thanks for the message. How long until the 4.0 update? This type of issue looks really unprofessional. It’s not something I want customers seeing.
Also why did an update cause this type of issue?
thanks

Thanks for looking into the issue. I doubt that it’s my browser since i use the non cache chrome browser. Unless it’s an issue with all chrome browsers but I haven’t noticed this issue on any other sites.
Also i verified that the footer font is not bold after the update. I don’t know what code changed in the last update but I needed to add the following css today in order to get all footer font bold which i was trying to avoid.
#footer {
font-weight: bold!important;
}.widget_nav_menu a {
font-weight: bold!important;
}Before the update the following code seemed to be enough to bold everything:
h1,h2,h3,h4,h5,h6{
font-weight: bold;
}The original body font issue is bold again so that seems to have fixed itself.
as for the weird fonts showing up in mid sentence, i will keep an eye on it and keep you updated.
However, it is a strange coincidence that i have nothing but font issues after the update.
Lastly, i did update all the plugins after you mentioned it, but i don’t seem to be getting any notifications of new updates for plugins. Is there a setting for this that i don’t know about? When i go to dashboard and updates, plugin updates have not been showing up for a while now and i didn’t even know updates where available.
Thanks again
February 27, 2016 at 02:05 #107021rawboxParticipantIn addition i also had this css code to bold font prior to update that i forgot to mention.
body {
font-weight: bold!important;
}Thanks
