I want to customize a script in the paidmembershipspro theme plugin (wp-content/themes/kleo/paid-memerbships-pro/pages/levels.php)

I do my theme customizations in my sub theme: Kleo-Child. I’m just not sure how to customize something like the script I just mentioned. Do I replicate the directory structure in Kleo-Child and add my customized php file there?

    Hi,

Just copy that file but in child Example : wp-content/themes/kleo-child/paid-memberships-pro/pages/levels.php

Then you can customize the template without affect core theme files.

    Cheers

    Great! Just another related question.

Does this same rule apply if I want to override a PMPro add-on file (e.g. wp-content/plugins/pmpro-register-helper/pmpro-register-helper.php)? Would just copy the file to same dir in my kle-child dir?

    Hi,

    That is not possible.

You can try to edit the plugin but backup the files, if the plugin will update you will loose the modification.

    Cheers
