Hi – I’m trying to create a Display of member uploaded media. (On a different page)
I tried Post Grid using the rtmedia_album as a data source (from the drop down list) with no other conditions or filters, but I don’t see anything. Tried with and without filters (i already have 3 albums in user profiles but none show).
Alternately,
Is there a custom query syntax that can help me do the same thing (to paste in Kleo Post data source). I want to display albums (sorted by author) and enable comments.
Thank you

However I prefer to use the Kleo Post option since that has a better look to it and because it has an rtmedia_album option in data sources. But despite repeated attempts, this option does not work (but Kleo Post element works for Posts, Pages etc.)
Alternately, I tried using an rtmedia shortcode directly in the page – [rtmedia_gallery global=”true” media_type=”album”]
This works but lists the gallery in thumbnail images – very basic. Can you help me edit this shortcake so that:
I can list the author name.
Change the display size to medium imagesThank you.

They dont have featured images or content. I’ll talk to the developers about removing that from the list. A long time ago, you couldnt even select a post type, but there were many people who wanted to use it with their custom post types so they added that. They didnt do any filtering and really there hasnt been any issue until yours.
The standard way of changing the media sizes for rtMedia galleries is to change your thumbnail sizes in the plugin settings. As for displaying authors names, you might find a solution to this on the rtMedia forums.
