I am desperately trying to get it so that users can register and login. When a user goes to register, nothing happens. They fill out their info, then click submit and nothing happens after that. I setup facebook login and registration and when a user tries to register or login from facebook, nothing happens. Does this have to do with the theme or buddypress?
And somehow I did something that when I go to preview my site, the page automatically is directed to the member profile/message page. Can you help me figure this out?
Also, the visual composer no longer works. I heard that there is an update, but since it came with my theme, can you tell me when an update will be available for the Kleo theme?

App Not Setup: This app is still in development mode, and you don’t have access to it. Switch to a registered test user or ask an app admin for permissions.
For the registration page, your site is throwing a 404 on some undefined resource. Look for a plugin conflict with one of the extra plugins you have installed.

March 18, 2016 at 06:10 #111454stuffmartusaParticipantWhen user creates account, the website says:
“You have successfully created your account! To begin using this site you will need to activate your account via the email we have just sent to your address.”
But the email never comes through.
The user shows up as a pending member in my dashboard, but they never get an email confirmation.
Do you still think that is a plugin conflict? thank you for your help!

March 19, 2016 at 01:34 #111688stuffmartusaParticipantI had already that plug-in with no success. Tried with two different email addresses.. both failed. I’m thinking it’s either something amiss in my hosting plan (ifastnet.com) or something else. Is there another plug-in I should try? Thanks again!
March 19, 2016 at 03:15 #111704sharmstrModeratorThat one usually works. I’ve used it myself. If I remember correctly, it has a test feature that will allow you to send a test message. Did you try that?

March 21, 2016 at 18:38 #112019stuffmartusaParticipantI finally have the email thing working, but I am having a new problem with the registration page. I had to completely reinstall wordpress and Kleo on my server. Before I did this, it was actually working, but now it’s not. I’m sure it’s a setting that I cannot find.
When I go to settings>buddypress, I set the register and activate pages but these pages will no longer load.
I have a register page set up on my home page, and that loads, but when you fill out your information and hit register, it goes back to the home page.
In fact, any page that I set in my buddypress settings to register or activate, don’t open and revert back to the home page when I click the “view” button.
Can you please help me?
Thank you!

March 21, 2016 at 18:57 #112024stuffmartusaParticipantplease ignore the earlier request for help. I was logged in trying to create an account.. I logged out and created a dummy account and it worked fine. So sorry
March 21, 2016 at 19:08 #112028sharmstrModeratorNo problem. Common mistake. Even I do it 😉
