Could you kindly help with the function of country – city autocomplete please please?
(We have the fresh version of 2.4)
I have just started with WP not so long ago and I am sorry in advance for the non-smart question.
The aim is to have in the Country field the list of all countries and in the City field the list of all cities in accordance to the Countries list.
1) I have created in users – profile fields Country and City fields. What type of fiels to choose
text ? drop down select box (does not allow to leave it’s empty, should I put manually all countries names)?2) what to do with the Country Code (sweetdate – BP) if we need the list of cities for all countries?

You should import buddypress fields from Sweetdate – Buddypress since that will create a Country dropdown field with all countries populated and the City field as text field.

One more stupid question, if it happened that I have deleted all pre-set values in Country field then how it is possible to restore it?Thank you in advance!
I have looked thru forum and if I am correct the country field was pre-set in the theme initially and if one deletes it, then it just simply needs to be created again.

I am wondering what can be the reason for it?
I think the problem lies in the bb-press side with profile fields,but I really can’t get it…
The country field is drop-down with 1 value – Russia
The city field is empty with type text.I am sorry for asking too many stupid questions, I think the problem also can be in geonames account. It is mentioned in sweetdate-budypress “Geonames username ….. Get one from geonames.org and enable the free service from your account”. How to enable the free service from your account?

NadyaMake sure you have selected to Country and City fields under Sweetdate – Buddypress so the system will know where to populate the values. Give us a link to your site if it still not working
