Should I delete the files in Child theme

    Hi

    Just notice that there are some files in Child theme that are overridden from Sweetdate.

    I want to only keep the functions.php and style.css

    What are the purpose for other files? Can I delete them?

    Hello, the child theme should be active and the purpose of it is to save your change , if for example you need to add something to functions.php, you do it at the child theme file, not main file. If you want to edit any file, you copy and paste it to the child theme, then edit it there. Is like a mirror 🙂
    This helps because if you update the theme your changes wont be saved.

    Yeah I know so I only keep functions.php and style.css.
    Will be any other trouble if I delete others in Child theme? Thanks

    Hello, if you didnt no any change you can delete what you want, but, they dont really change nothing, only when you add something to them
