I’m not sure how to describe this, but it looks like visual composer is not recognizing some of the kleo theme elements after I update to 1.2. See screen shot: http://39miles.net/1.png
The shortcodes seem to be working, but the options to create these items are no longer available in the add elements pop up of visual composer.
And the formatting has gone awry. The 3 buttons are supposed to be aligned underneath the above featured content, but they are appearing in the cente rof the page on top of one another. THey were not exhibiting this behavior prior to the 1.2 update. See screen shote here: http://39miles.net/2.png
What can I do to fix this?
March 20, 2014 at 13:19 #13036sharmstrModeratorI have to ask this. Did you update VC and K elements too? If not, that could be your problem.

March 20, 2014 at 17:58 #13059darrenvParticipantYes, I thought of that first so I re-downloaded the theme just to be sure, deleted the existing VC and K elements and then re-installed from the most recent theme distribution. I did this twice to no avail.
If turns out the VC is not recognizing many of the theme elements. And when I edit a page that contains them ie the buddypress activity feed elements for example, there is no short code for some items (namely the activity feed elements), so the content/instruction is deleted from the page and I am left only with the text title. Very strange behavior. Here is a screen shot of the elements that VC is offering as options – notice all of the missing elements???
March 20, 2014 at 19:57 #13078AbeKeymasterI don’t think that K-elements it is active. Can you re-check?

I tried it active only on main site and again network activated. I’ve activated, deactivated, deleted, reinstalled 4 times with no change in results.
March 20, 2014 at 22:41 #13109AbeKeymasterI see that is fine now in your site? Try with K-elements network deactivated and activated in the site but either way should work.

I have just now gone in and deleted all the plugins I wasn’t using. That cleared up the alignment problem on the home page (that’s likely what you saw – just now cleared that up). However, VC is still not working in the back end.
March 21, 2014 at 08:11 #13130darrenvParticipantI updated to 1.3 today and updated k elements and VC. Although all elements seem to be back in order for creation of new content, the old garbled content has not fixed itself. So I am manually rebuilding all pages. Not ideal for sure. There was definitely a glitch in there somewhere. But at least this will get me where I need to be.
March 21, 2014 at 23:41 #13170AbeKeymasterThat is strange .. could be something related to Visual composer.
