Hi,
I am using the BP profile search for filtering out the users that match the request. When selecting items from the list (the form fields are multi select) I do not receive any feedback that the item is selected, and it just shows the name of the form field. This confuses the user that his input was not registered .
On a mobile, the form displays “0 items” when the form loads, and responds to the selected item number the same way. If there is only 1 item selected, then the form field displays the name of that item.
How can I get the same input feedback on the desktop browser ?

it didn’t work because it displayed form fields as a regular checkbox list. I forgot to add that the form fields are drop-down style.
I added some examples of how the problem looks like.

sorry for not being clear.
In the first attachment you can see that the form field displays a placeholder “continent”. When a user clicks on it, a drop-down appears with multiple selections. When some choices (attachment 2) are made and the drop-down field is closed, the placeholder still shows “continent” instead of a number of items that are selected and confuses the users that their input was not registered. On a mobile the placeholder changes to the number of items that are being selected.
So my question is, how can I make the same respond to user inputs on a desktop?August 16, 2016 at 00:31 #132584LauraModeratorHello, that is not available right now, but a developer could create it for you 🙂
The form is created by a third party plugin and we cant change that sadlyHi there!!! Help others from the community and mark any reply as solution if it solved your question. Mark as a solutionLaura Solanes - Graphic Designer and Web Designer
