Ever since I got this theme, I always wondered why there are no header widgets available to place content in the top portion of the pages, especially the header area.

Now I have an issue where I am trying to figure out a way to put an Adsense search box in the header area (See attachment).

I realize you don’t offer help on customization, but is there any way to add content either to the menu area or anywhere in the area of my screenshot without messing with code manually?  Or is there any way to simply add a header widget to the Child Theme or place some code in the Child Theme that will allow me to show my Adsense search box?

    Thanks!

I have figured this out on my own. I found a plugin that allows you to widgetize menu items. It worked perfectly, by using this plugin I was able to make my search box appear in my menu area (See screen shot).

I’m still wondering why in this theme there are only widgets available for the footer area and nowhere else. It would really make sense to have some other widget areas so people can place items on other areas of the page.
