Visual Composer does not show text in text box backend or front end editor

Hello, I have disabled all plugins and reinstalled Visual Composer and continue to not be able to edit or even see text in the text or visual editors. The text and visual editors then disappear if I scroll down in the window. I also cannot save or close using the buttons sometimes.

I re-enabled caching, heartbeat, and anti-malware plugins before leaving the site. Can you please login in and see if you can figure it out?

My host siteground installed bot protection in my .htaccess file a few days ago. That is the ONLY other change I can identify. Thank you. I have spent all day troubleshooting to no solution. Thank you, Gabriel,  for any help.  karen
