Hello,
I’m having difficulties getting the right search results. I’ve found in a support topic, the matching field for looking for a, which was already very helpful, but there are a lot more search profile fields, I would like to use, don’t you have a complete list for the matching profile fields, because only 3 fields is very little and I can’t seem to get it right
Kind Regards
September 14, 2016 at 09:24 #136039LauraModeratorHello, all fields selected at Matching section should count at the final matching.
I do not understand the question, can you explain a bit more?Hi there!!! Help others from the community and mark any reply as solution if it solved your question. Mark as a solutionLaura Solanes - Graphic Designer and Web Designer

As I understand it, it should be the fields selection at search form customization (see pic. search field selection), that should count towards the final matching result. But simply selecting the desired fields here, doesn’t make it work!
Then when I scroll a little further down the page it becomes clear(see pic. search field matching). There is a header that reads:”select matching fields”. And the field selected here is the only field that REALLY COUNTS towards the FINAL MATCHING RESULT. But that’s just ONE field! (I’m probably missing something here?)
I’ve tried thought the users-profile fields tab, which is the most common way to make a selected searching through matching fields works, but I can’t make it work or maybe it’s simply disabled? I don’t know. And then second question a long the same line, is that I really would like to make a search field that could selecting people on the distance from where a person resides. What would be the best way to approach that or should I get a plugin of some kind for that?

MATCHING: Is the % that appears at the circle for each profile when you visit it. To set which fields count for the matching, go to Sweetdate > Matching and set a number for each field, for example 10, means 10% for matching if that field matchs.SEARCH RESULTS: Doesn’t affect matching. When the user search for someone, it will search for people looking for the same. For example:
I am a: WOMAN
Looking for a: MANWill show Men looking for Women.
