I followed the tutorial to the letter, but in 4:30 of the video, when I go to select “Sweetdate menu” under appearance > menus> Manage location, my menu does not look like the menu in the tutorial. Instead, the links are different. I have the links:
Welcome
Features
Search Page
Third level menu
bbPress
Buddypress
Blog
Contactinstead of the demo’s six item menu of
Welcome
Features
bbPress
Buddypress
Blog
ContactIf it was a matter of just going in and editing the menu it would be no issue. Unfortunately, in addition, every single one of my menu links redirects to a 404 page. I tried the demo once before but thought I made an error. I wiped the slate clean, re-installed wordpress and downloaded the theme again. Same problem (although ended up with slightly different menu links this time).
Thank you for taking the time to help me. 🙂

With WAMP you need to turn on the rewrite_module. To do this click on the WAMP icon in your task bar and navigate to: Apache>Apache modules> Scroll down to rewrite_module and click it. Once you do this your pages should work immediately.
I googled for like 4 hours for that answer hahaha 🙂
Have not figured out why the demo menu links were off but I’m just going to edit them manually for now. I hope everything else from the demo files uploaded correctly!
