Place customisation

I’m sorry but I wasn’t able to find any topics on the customisation on ”places”.  As i’m not using the theme to list places I need some things to be changed in my GeoDirectory

– How to remove the whole Google Maps integration and default location?  My breadcrumbs and URL don’t make any sense at this moment

– How to change the default page of a listing?  I want to remove ”Profile” and either translate it (Loco Translate doesn’t do the job) or have one of my custom fields to be the default page on the listing page

– How to get the reviews underneath the different tabs rather than inside?

As I’m using the places for Language Courses around the world it might be a better option for me to use Custom Post types rather than ”Places”.  Will I still be able to use the search function, reviews and ratings when I do so?
