Hi!
Can you explain me, why does sign up button show only user name, email, name and password fields? I set up much more mandatory profile fields at “Base/Primary”.
How can I fix this?
Hello, they will appear at the Registration page, not at the popup. Because what you changed is the registration page of Buddypress, and that pppup is made by the theme with predefined fields, that popup will redirect to the registration page

Well, it doesn’t redirect for some reason. How can I change that? Or how can I make it to redirect to registration page? Thank you.
If you set the register page correctly it should redirect
Go to Settings > Buddypress and set register page and other pages
If it doesnt work,check your permalinks, they should be at post name.

That’s the thing – everything looks to be set fine (see attachments). But when I click on register page – it sends me to homepage for some reason. Why do you think this is happening?

I just tried – but the same window pups out, with only few fields to fill (see attached). I would like to be redirected to register form where mandatory fields are required to fill, those which I created at “Users Profile Fields” base.
I mean, the main problem I addressed here and the reason I opened ticket – that sign up button does not redirect user to register page.
Regarding register page itself – you are right it was redirecting me to home page because I was logged in:).So now how do I make the sign up button to redirect user to register page?

I see also the behavior that you describe here, completing the fields from pop-up and it directly registers you instead of redirecting to /register page to complete the rest of the fields, for this matter please de-activate all plugins except BuddyPress and also de-activate the child theme and test this again

I just did what you advised, I deactivated all plugins except BuddyPress, I deactivated the theme. But nothing changed after I activated all back. SignUp button still doesn’t redirect to register page.
Please, advise.
Thank you.You should test the behaviour with all of these except buddypress de-activated, if you have done that provide FTP to investigate further

It seems to be a theme bug, please let us some time to investigate and to fix this

If you want to be redirected to register page when you click on signup you should copy this file : /wp-content/themes/sweetdate/header.php
to child theme in this path : /wp-content/themes/sweetdate-child/
Then in child theme follow the instructions form photo

How to redirect “Create New Account” button to register page as well?
