I am trying to add a sidebar with widgets on the Woocommerce Shop page under BuddyApp. I can get sidebars working for every other page, but not Shop. I can also set a right sidebar on the Shop page but it is just blank. I can’t get any widget to show up except in the left navigation panel. Nothing shows in the right sidebar itself.
Reading in the docs it seems that the Shop page is special and there should be a Woocommerce Shop sidebar in my sidebar list on Widget page. I don’t have it. I see there’s a setting under Theme Options for Woocommerce page layout and I have set this for Right Sidebar. I was thinking that this should enable a Woocommerce Sidebar on the Widget page but so far nothing.
What am I doing wrong? is there another setting? How to enable sidebars on Shop?

After you added that then you add widgets to it from Appearance – Widgets and will show in the woocommerce related pages.Cheers
