    Hi,

I’m trying to import the full demo content for the news magazine demo.

I had already buddypress and bbpress and some pages installed in a test site.

I used the “Home news magazine” image thumbnail checking “import pages” “import images” “import rev slider”.

Nothing happen but then I find the home page installed without images and posts. I had to install the slider by myself with the zip.

What’s wrong? It would be useful having the full content to understand shortcodes settings and everything. Your tutorial video is outdated. it does not reflect the latest theme menu.

How I can import everything from the new magazine example correctly? Should I erase all my previous content?

I spent many hours configuring the bbpress part of the website

Hello, the demo is fine, to show more posts just add yours and change the categories at the homepage using visual composer 🙂

    Thank you Laura.
Given that the first time I imported the news magazine home page all the shortcodes came without demo settings customization(*). (Maybe because demo categories were not imported). Now I see that demo categories are there but all shortcodes are still without config…
Should I import again the home page to see how demo shortcodes were configured?

(*) for example, demo news focus “All news” shows all categories while in my demo it is completely reset. This is because it lost the original query. Of course I’m able to recreate everything but it would be nice seeing demo settings.

    Thank you in advance

I’ve just trashed the previously imported “home news magazine”
I went to “Kleo demo data” > “advanced import” > “specific page” > “home news magazine” (no attachements).
I get the page imported but again no way to see it with original settings.
Are there shortcodes settings lost during import?

    Bye

Hello, there are no special settings, just dummy categories shown at QUERY
Go to any element, create the query ad at category set anything for example FASHION
that is what the homepage has just categories assigned, its made so you add your own 🙂
