Hi there,
I’ve looked through the database but could not find an answer to this problem.
My post’s breadcrumb links are showing the post’s year and month of posting instead of the category links in which the post is posted.
So, what is shown is this: home / 2016 / october / post title
while I believe it should be: home / magazine / art & culture / post title
Is this an issue you can help with?
Thank you for such a wonderful theme.
Regards,
Yin

I set the permalink to include the /%category%/ but my remaining question is now: how can I also display a SUBcategory if the blog is in there? For example: my blog is in the category MAGAZINE (parent category) and the subcategory (or child category) Art & Culture, but on the breadcrumb only MAGAZINE shows up. Is there a way for the subcategory or subcategories to show up as well?
Warm regards,

The breadcrumbs will always follow the permalinks structure, if you will have category/subcat/post the breadcrumb will show like that.

And one more thing I learned that might help others that read this as well: if you want the breadcrumb to show your Category AND your SubCategory, ie. MAGAZINE / CULTURE, you must make sure to only select the subcategory in the blog editor and not the main category. Both sub- and main category will then show up in the breadcrumb, at least if you have set your permalinks to show them.
