Again problems with buddypress

Ok sorry to “reopen” this matter but I am having problems with some buddypress features again.

The thing is I am starting from a new install because on the previous one it was just too messy to try to figure out where could the problems be generated.

Now that I started with a fresh install I can imagine one of the problems, which is related to the GROUPS tab of buddypress:

I need my site to be in italian language. I have uploaded a po and mo in italian.  I’ve translated only what I really need for now.

In the BP user page, when you click on the “goups” tab (gruppi in Italian) there is nothing, you can’t create groups or even see them (unless you are part of a group already)… But, when you go to admin dashboard > Settings > BuddyPress > Pages and click on “view” for the groups page, you will see it correctly. So yes, there is an URL redirect problem that I am not able to solve.

That is problem one. Problem two is that I’ve created a user to test the activities etc… and when I’m on each users activity and post updates “no one” (of both users) sees anything, no updates, notifications whatsoever… To put it short: each users is only able to see it’s own activity feed :S …. Not very useful haha…

Everything used to work fine, I think it could be related with BP latest update? Then I also thought it could be because of the security, Membership, Multilanguage, and private site plugins I had installed so that’s why I started all over (I had not dev much into the site so I did not care). But now I’m back again with the same issues…
