    Hi

I am playing around with the Member statisics shortcode
It works well. I also found documentation here.
    https://archived.seventhqueen.com/sweetdate/article/member-statistics-shortcode<

There is one strange thing though. I have two fields which are similarily structured.
Same amount and names of options like daddy, bear, chubby aso.

    1) is called LOOKING FOR and I am using a Drop down select box.
    [kleo_member_stats field=”LOOKING FOR” value=”Bear” online=”no”]

    2) is called I ALSO LIKE and this field uses Check boxes.
    [kleo_member_stats field=”I ALSO LIKE” value=”Bear” online=”no”]

The strange thing is that 1) does work but 2) retrieves zeros. I have cleared cache several times.

Is it so that fields with check boxes cannot be retrieved with this shortcode?

    Second question.
I found out that if I set online to yes it shows the amount of such members who are currently online. Nice.
    a) [kleo_member_stats field=”LOOKING FOR” value=”Bear” online=”yes”]

This shortcode gives the same result.
    b) [kleo_members_online field_name=”I AM A field=”Daddy”]

I am not sure when I would use a) and b)

    Thanks
    Andreas

Hello, you should use dropdowns, or maybe multiselect (this one i am not sure )
And well, they do the same, so you can use any 🙂

Thanks Laura – this is not really important. Stats are just stats. But I was curious. I will test it by setting this one field, that doesn´t give results, to drop-down and see if this makes a difference. I might report that because, as you said, it should work. Anyway. I put this on solved.

    Hi Laura

I made a test and there indeed is an issue with the statistic shortcode.

    I created a test field with 3 values A, B, C.
When I set it to Drop Down Select box everything is fine. The Stats get displayed.
When I set it from Drop Don Select box to Checkbox and leave the one value as it was (A selected) the stats get displayed fine.

BUT – when you start changing the value by selecting other checkboxes, the stats give all 0 for the three values.

    Regards
    Andreas
