ParticipantHi,
I would like to keep login functionality within Login modal window. If user types credentials correctly, everything is fine. However, if user types wrong username / password, user is being redirected to default WordPress login page. Is it possible provide a user with error message within modal window and not redirect to the WP default login page at all?
I see that is working fine on your site https://archived.seventhqueen.com. You see an error message in modal and no redirection. I would like to apply the same for my site.
Thanks.

ParticipantHi Radu,
thanks for this response. However, there is other problem – after pressing “Login” button in Login modal, I get redirected to:
https://urlhidden.com/wp-login.php with an error message:
502 Bad GatewayHowever, when I press refresh, I get normal WP login screen on that page.
Not sure what is going on?
Thank you.

ModeratorHi,
That’s odd, can you ask please on the wp engine support about this issue?
We have made some changes related to wp engine few times ago that fixes exactly the same issue, but now it happens the same.
Ask please them what should be the post URL of the login data with what parameters, of if they have a guide for this to provide to us.
Cheers
