Hello,
I added several News Focus elements for each category when I build a new page, please check the here for screenshot: http://prntscr.com/esfb8x, and the screen short at front-end: http://prntscr.com/esffg0, or you may like to visit the page at http://lxp.lovcour.com/home-news-magazineproject-2
I tried to deactivate almost all of other plugins to check the reason, but I still can not found what is the problem. also I search public topic upon news focus on your support forum, but not found related topic, would you please help on this. thanks so much.

Ok, that’s odd, do you have posibility to test this behaviour but on a english text install ? the name of the categories should be in english not Chinese for testing propouse.
So the issue can be caused by the characters type, let me know if you are able to reproduce the issue on english site.

Mark as a solutionoh, that is odd, after test， I found the problem will happened only if the section name is same as category name, no matter the category is chinese or English, please look at the secreenshot here:

Thank you for additional details, it will be easier to fix the bug, I will add this to buglist and we will let you kno when we fix this. until then use different names by adding . or spaces or other small characters in names.
