Hi
We are developing a dating website using your theme. See the beta site here. There is a beta version working here the beta Site.
We have a dedicated root server running, have 2 database in place the native mylSAM and InnoDB to hold the large (2 million) profiles.
We have some serious issues on the homepage:
1. The search form on the header doesn’t work
2. The Top/Active Members don’t show profiles, we have over 2 million profilesThanks in advance
Amarnath J.[Note: The developer who did the job is no more with us and left. So we have purchased the new theme. Do we have to replace the old theme with the new theme that we purchased last week? If needed we can provided necessary access to dashboard as well as login details to the root server where the site is hosted.]

May 25, 2017 at 18:56 #162696RaduModeratorHi,
1. I cannot see/test the search form cuz I’m not logged in and the register form it’s displayed instead, so I need a test account.
2. On Top Members section tabs recent and active works but only popular not, in this case, you should try to deactivate the child theme and all plugins except BuddyPress to test again if it works, if it’s the same follow the debug procedure.
Please follow these steps to enable wp debug:
- Connect to your server by FTP
- Look in root directory of your WordPress install and open wp-config.php
- Search for define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, false ); and change FALSE value to TRUE
COPY CODEdefine( 'WP_DEBUG', true );
- After this line add this:
COPY CODEdefine( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true );
WP_DEBUG_LOG is a companion to WP_DEBUG that causes all errors to also be saved to a debug.log log file inside the /wp-content/ directory. This is useful if you want to review all notices later or need to view notices generated off-screen (e.g. during an AJAX request or wp-cron run).
Repeat the described actions and then check the debug.log file and let me know what error appears.
If this is useless please try to deactivate additional plugins except for Visual Composer, K-elements, BuddyPress, Paid memberships pro and revolution slider.
After you have disabled the plugins try to see if the error persists.
Cheers

Thanks for your reply and help.
1. To checkout the form functionality, i have created a test account for you with full administrator controls. Please find the credentials below.
Dashboard Login URL: http://shag.me/matt/
Username: hosting
Password: kmcson2. I tried deactivating child theme and disabled all the plugins except for buddypress, still the profiles under Popular tab are not showing. The define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, true ); is already in place. I have attached the debug.log file as you requested.
Kindly do the needful, if you need, i can also share you the server root access.
Thanks once again for your help

Amarnath JaganathanMay 30, 2017 at 17:32 #163030RaduModeratorHi,
After I click search and wait 5 minutes the server says internal server error
Also, this should appears in the debug log file.
In the previous debug file. Some default server variables are missing.
SO, please contact the hosting company and tell him about those and ask for activation of those.
Provide a new debug log file to see exactly the trace of 500 error, or provide FTP to can check directly
Cheers

The server admin has replied with the following:
“Both SERVER_PORT and SERVER_NAME variables are *always* available within PHP. Both are globals variables too. Reference: http://shag.me/info.php . It is the responsibility of the theme or the plugin to make use of such variables within the theme or the plugin. There is nothing extra to do on the server side to enable (or to hide) them. To put it otherwise, there is no way to disable these variables from the server side. ”
Please find below the FTP credentials for the site:
FTP server: http://ftp.shag.me
FTP & explicit FTPS port: 21
USERNAME: amar@shag.me
PASSWORD: IhG&lgn&kT_[June 5, 2017 at 18:49 #163441RaduModeratorI see, but the FTP credentials are not working
Let me know the correct credentials

AmarnathJune 6, 2017 at 22:01 #163561aroganzParticipantHi Radu
Can you let me know whether the SFTP details which i sent working for you?
Are you working on fixing the form or does it require any further assistance from our side to resolve this issue?Kindly update me, as back and forth getting replies from your support taking way too long. I do understand initially i took time to explain the issue from my side as well as discussing the issue with my server guy. Nevertheless i do expect you to give you solid solution, else i should raise an issue with my client as well as to envato that this theme cannot full-fill on what it promised.
Regards
Amarnath J.June 7, 2017 at 21:49 #163683aroganzParticipantHi Radu,
Any update on the issue pertaining?
Just let me know the status whether you people working or give me alternate solution…
June 8, 2017 at 22:35 #163779aroganzParticipantHi Radu/Support team,
So far even after your stated 48 hours for replying, you haven’t provided an answer or a solution pertaining to the problem which i raised.
I am about to raise the flag for a refund with Envato as well as complain. As your theme doesn’t promise what it intends to build a large social networking platform.
Thanks for your efforts. I will face it legally with my promoter.
Cheers.

R.Hi there!!! Help others from the community and mark any reply as solution if it solved your question. Mark as a solutionJune 9, 2017 at 17:31 #163854RaduModeratorHi,
Your parent theme it’s from a warez site ?!
That’s odd, anyway, I’ve uploaded a fresh copy of sweetdate, I’ve left that theme in wp-content/themes/ re-named to sweetdate-old
After hours of debugging I’ve found, the issue it’s caused by the memory limit, in your case when you have 2million + members you need to have 1GB memory allocation, now the search it works, but that members are not visible in search cuz they are not activated ( they never logged in )
Use this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/activate-users-in-buddypress/ to activate the users.
It should be ok now, please check and five to me confirmation
Cheers

Thanks for the update. Increased the memory to 2GB. Installed and activated the https://wordpress.org/plugins/activate-users-in-buddypress/ plugin you recommended.
Still the form search returns no results. Any further thoughts to fix this issue?

AmarJune 14, 2017 at 17:00 #164262RaduModeratorHi,
Technically each user should log in at least one time to become “active users” then BuddyPress will show the profiles in search results.\
Try to add this functionYou can try to activate manually accounts with this kind of function that updates the user status in database
COPY CODE<?php $user_id = get_current_user_id(); add_user_meta( $user_id, 'user_status', '0' ); ?>
The function needs to be pasted in wp-content/themes/kleo-child/functions.php
Cheers
