I’ve been setting up the sweetdate theme and have run into a few problems I’m hoping you can help me with. I’m not skilled with wordpress and had some help to begin with but now I’m stuck.

    Questions:-

    a) I didn’t want the Slider Revolution on my home page so I switched it off. Now I have a blank space next to my search box I want to insert text and an image into but I can’t figure out how? Can you guide me?

    b) Ever since I switched off the Slider I also seem to be getting a small dot appearing next to my member profiles. It maybe a coincidence i.e. unrelated to Slider, but what does it mean and how do I get ride of it?

    c) On my iPhone the homepage is showing the menu icon but no menu itself. This is in Safari. It seems fine in Google chrome. As a more general issue when loading it’s not always optimizing for iphone (safari issue not chrome).

I have a separate question on the ‘What’s New’ function that appears on a members profile and group profiles as it has no submit button and therefore serves no purpose. Is this an error in my set-up or is there a way of switching this off?
