We want to change on Archive categories, the text “Archive for category: x” and remove the “Archive for category” part that precedes the category name. I tried adding the code here – https://archived.seventhqueen.com/forums/topic/change-kleo-page-title-for-archives-and-other-wordpress-pages# – to our child theme functions and it created a 500 error and broke the website. Any suggestions?

Could you do the following for me please
– Copy the code again, being careful to get all of the code, paste it at the very end of your KLEO Child theme’s functions.php file save and see if it works for you.
– If it does not, and it generates the 500 error again, please can you copy the lines from the last 10 minutes of the php error log into this ticket so I can review the contents.Thanks,

Can you instead let me know what folder/file that these lines are located in?
I don’t seem to have a php error log or not sure where to find it.
Hi,
It should be in your main WordPress install location which you can access via FTP or through your hosts file browser.
If you do not have a PHP error log speak to your host as they may either hide it or deny access to it – they should however be able to send you the contents.
