Good day,
When I hover over a menu item the description appears over the menu title itself making it appear messy. Is there a way to disable the description from appearing?

Hello, that is browser dependent, not actually created by the theme or wordpress https://stackoverflow.com/questions/5871239/turn-off-alt-tags-on-links-with-css
