HI Guys,
Does anyone know how to delete more than 1 notification at a time preferably all in one go?
Thanx
May 8, 2014 at 03:43 #17135sharmstrModeratorI wrote script that does that: https://github.com/colabsadmin/BuddyPress-Manage-Notifications I’m supposed to be adding it to BuddyPress core, but I got frustrated and distracted. Anyhow, there’s a few dropdown display name issues with it but maybe you can sort those out. I warn you, I’m not going to offer much support for it. I dont have the time.
To use it, take the first 3 files and put them in a folder called ‘bp-manage-notifications’ in the plugins dir. Then put notifications-loop.php in /kleo-child/buddypress/members/single/notifications. Good luck.

May 8, 2014 at 12:07 #17151designingParticipantHi Sharmstr,
I really appreciate your help but to be totally honest I’m a front end web designer I do tinker with a bit of css and htlm and maybe some php with some good advice and instructions 🙂 And although this functionality would help me, and I can’t believe it’s not already part of the core, like check boxes and a drop-down with delete or something (strange) I really don’t want to add anything that’s unstable otherwise I’ll probably have to find someone to help me fix it. And I know your already a very busy man 😉
ThanX again for your time as usual I’ve notice you helping quite a few people on this forum your a big credit to the support team.

May 9, 2014 at 04:15 #17287guy_fraserParticipantIf you’ve got the WordPress bar enabled for end-users, then this might be of use: http://buddydev.com/plugins/buddypress-clear-notifications/ (I’ve not tried it myself, just spotted it a couple of days ago while looking for something else).
May 9, 2014 at 11:11 #17302designingParticipantHi Guy,
The only thing is I see that this plugin hasn’t been supported for more than 2 years, and with new update for BP etc. I’m a little dubious about loading untested plugins.
Thanks for sharing though 😉
