Hi Sweetdate.
In the weekend I updated to version 3.0 but when I did, I couldn’t see any of the profiles (or my own).
Good thing I did a backup right before, so I could switch back to the old version 🙂I guess it was because of:
“- IMPORTANT NOTICE: All BuddyPress templates were rewritten and your old templates overrides from child theme won’t work. We moved to the bp-legacy integration for BuddyPress templates since SweetDate was using a deprecated integration.”I’m not sure I understand what I’m supposed to do?
The template overrides from my child theme have a lot of settings in it, but how do I use them now then?Do you think it’s because of this or?
Kind regards
HenrikSeptember 7, 2017 at 20:04 #172885LauraModeratorHello, you should move the templates inside a buddypress folder ( create it ) so i would be buddypress/members (if the templates are of member profiles) /single for single profiles, just check the main theme files to find where the templates are and then replicate it 🙂

September 7, 2017 at 20:50 #172910hejmsParticipantThere’s already a folder called Buddypress inside the Plugins folder.
Is it there I should put the folders ? 🙂
Like Plugins/buddypress/members
and Plugins/buddypress/single
?Or is it in the Themes/Sweetdate-child/
that you want me to create a folder called buddypress and then move the folders there? 🙂
(Like Themes/sweetdate-child/buddypress/membersSorry if I’m a bit slow right now 😛
September 9, 2017 at 01:32 #173023LauraModeratorHello, can you share access so i can check it out? ftp access and wp-admin 🙂

September 9, 2017 at 01:37 #173025hejmsParticipantWell, it isn’t updated right now, and it isn’t possible the next few days. 🙂
I just need to know if it’s “plugins/buddypress/members” or “themes/sweetdate-child/buddypress/members”, and then I’ll try in a few days 🙂
But I’ll get back to you with the ftp-access and such, when it’s possible. 🙂
Thanks in advance!
HenrikSeptember 11, 2017 at 02:31 #173212LauraModeratorHello 🙂
Basically,go to wp-content/themes/sweetdate and find the files that you had at your child theme, once found, just make sure the folders and their location are the sameHi there!!! September 12, 2017 at 14:32 #173389LauraModeratorHello, i see many change at the child theme, so you would need to check each template modified and compare it with the new template ( same name ) and adapt the change to the new template, then replace it at the child theme 🙂

September 25, 2017 at 03:52 #174679hejmsParticipantHi, sorry it’s taken so long to write back, but I had to look at all the different files and see if there’s any difference and that took forever!
(And I haven’t had so much time, but now I know to make sure I write down any changes I make!)
🙂But I’ve gotten into a small problem.
The file multiple-sidebars.php (located at framework/classes/)
is version 1.1.1 but for some reason the file I have changed is version 1.1.0 so it’s very hard to know what changes I’ve actually made! Can you maybe send me a version of that original file in version 1.1.0 so I can see what changes I have made?
Kind regards
Henrik 🙂September 25, 2017 at 23:29 #174756LauraModeratorHello, saddly i only save 2 versions before the latest version and those use 1.1.1 so i do not have 1.1.0
