Every member is being set as my website “administrator” when they sign up. How can I set the default user roles to something else?
I want to set the default user to “author” and Forum “contributor”
See my screenshot. I am KyndFellow the administrator, and had to reset all members rolls manually

Hi, this is a setting in WordPress which can be found by going to WP Admin > Settings > General > Scroll to: New User Default Role and set as required.
To change the default role of the forum member please go to WP Admin > Settings > Forums > Scroll to: Auto role and set as required.
