Good eventing,
I am trying to launch my website and in doing so, am trying to ensure it is secure with an active and functioning SSL certificate and seal on the checkout page. However, it is not working properly and my hosting provider has advised it is due to a mixed content issue which is hard-coded into my site’s theme (Kleo) and will require modifcation of the theme files directly. I have taken a look and have been unable to locate the issue, but was advised to contact the theme developer for further support in the matter.
Here is an excerpt of earlier correspodence clarifying the matter:
However, the padlock remains absent due to the mixed content on your site – e.g.
Code:
Mixed Content: The page at ‘https://www.justplatonic.com/home-page/membership-checkout/?level=8’ was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure image ‘http://www.justplatonic.com/wp-content/themes/kleo/assets/img/bg-body.gif’. This content should also be served over HTTPS.I sincerely hope someone at this end can assist me in rectifying the issue.Thank you,October 11, 2017 at 02:21 #176293LauraModeratorHello, will assign the ticket to a higher support level who can help and advise you in your query.

October 11, 2017 at 06:19 #176306ShelMarieParticipantI apologize, not quite fixed yet. Now the problem is getting my SSL seal to display properly. After days of frustration and trying to fix the issue, this is what I was told from my hosting provider:
The code provided to show the site seal however is not “pure html” so that particular area of the administrator area can not be used to install the certificate.Instead you need to use the information on https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/documentation/initial-plugin-setup/ssl/ and modify your functions.php file, generally in the theme, with the code listed on that page and replace the “$seal =” with:
Code:
<span id=”ss_img_wrapper_115-55_image_en”></span><script type=”text/javascript” src=”//seal.alphassl.com/SiteSeal/alpha_image_115-55_en.js”></script>Once you remove it from the memberships section and update the functions.php with the necessary code it should then show the site seal properly.
If you are unsure where exactly this should be added, it would be recommended to contact the theme developer as they would be best to advise.
Now I am not sure where this is located. I can find the functions.php file under my themes/Kleo, but there does not appear to be a $seal to modify. And after days of trying to rectify the issue, I am hesitant to start playing around with things I’m not completely confident in.
Any direction or assistance you could provide would be appreciated. Thank you!
October 11, 2017 at 19:23 #176356RaduModeratorHi,
Let me know if you encounter the the issue even if you are using default WP theme, and if yes you can try to ask the PMPRO support team, anyway did you have tried to paste the code from wp-admin -> memberships -> payment settings ? and to check ‘Extra HTTPS URL Filter:’ option ? see screenshot
Cheers

I have checked the “Extra HTTPS URL Filter” option. However, there is no Memberships -> Payment Settings under wp-admin, as you can see in the attached screenshot, unless I am misunderstanding and looking in the wrong spot.
