    Hi,

Thanks for reaching out today about bbPress, I am not 100% sure what you’re asking but I am going to assume you’re referencing how to create forums and topics – if you are not, please update the ticket with more information so I may assist you better.

Within bbPress you can create forums and topics, topics always belong to a forum, sometimes forums can belong to other forums too – this is called a parent/child relationship. Taking the KLEO Demo link you sent as an example:

    Design With Pleasure (Forum Parent)
    — “Inventory Management and Strategic Management of New Businesses” (Topic)
    — “in desing publim forum” (Topic)
    Product Design (Forum Child)
    — “Test forum post” (Topic)
    — “and howd it go??” (Topic)
    Web Design (Forum Child)
    — “test1234532432′ (Topic)
    — “test bumsi” (Topic)
    Group Testing (Forum)

All of the bold items are forums, all of the bold/italic items are children of the forum above it and all of the unformatted items are topics which belong to the forum directly above it. I’ve attached a screenshot below that shows the forums page with arrows, blue are parent forums, green are child forums.

To create a forum you can go to WP Admin > Forums > New Forum, to manage existing forums you can go to WP Admin > Forums > All Forums. To manage a topic you can go to WP Admin > Topics > All Topics – you can create a topic via the back-end (it is best done via front-end) by going to WP Admin > Topics > New Topic.

    Thanks,

    Kieran

Thanks for your reply. I have two questions reqardiing to the forums functions:
    1. When I created a new topic in the forum, error appears. Please see attached pic 12&13.
    2. How I put all the forums appear on the same page? like picture 14.The forums I created are on separate pages.
    Thanks.

    Hi,

    1. I am not going to be able to debug that with your site inaccessible on a localhost, but you should try logging out, clearing your browser cache and testing again. If this does not work try disabling all third party plugins, clear your cache (Ctrl+F5) and test again

    2. The forum page is automatically generated for you, visit yourdomain.com/forums/ to see this page

    Kieran.
