Not sure what has went wrong, I do a search and I get the number results but not all the profiles show, only recent profiles that have been active. Does it have anything to do with the drop down menu with (last active/alphabetical/new register)?
I’ve been cleaned up the Activity wall from past work that has been done so as not to show all my tests and work on the site and I don’t know if for whatever reason it affected members search?
Hello, i do think its the last active setting at the dropdown, you could change to alphabethical , if you want i can do that for you if you share ftp 🙂

Hello, fixed 🙂 I copied the file members-loop.php from the main theme to the child theme, so it looks likethis childtheme/buddypress/members/members-loop.php
Then i replaced this

Hi Laura, well further testing brings issue.
Initial search works Man>Woman>City>Ages so if I type say Vancouver for city and get 36 results etc the first page will show the proper results and in my case that’s 12 members per page that I have set to show, and all locations are correct for “Vancouver” etc. However clicking to the next page 2 defaults to All members so it no longer keeps the search results of sex/city/ages that I input and just lists the entire members directory. Pressing back to page 1 doesn’t save the search either it reverts back to the members full directory in alphabetical order…
Does that make sense?

I think i know what happens there, if you de-activate the child theme it works right ? ( second page with criteria )
If yes it means that you have in your child theme old 2.8.x + templates in your child and those should be removed or replaced with the new templating structure from sweetdate 3.0.

Not sure what version of child theme, you created a separate folder called: sweetdate-child-theme
for the above issue and added a lot into the cssHi
Fixed members result ok on all pages
hours of debugging… i’ve figured out
additionally you will have to migrate from old sweetdate homepage to the new one configurable by elementor

Edit it with elementor and make it to look like your current home, then replace it from wp-admin -> settings-> reading -> homepage -> sweetdate home 3.0
So the old way to make the homepage (from wp-admin -> theme options -> homepage) it’s deprecated you will have to migrate to the new way.
You can customize the form placeholder from wp-admin -> users -> profile search -> home or horizontal for directory.
