Hi there,
The main menu is not showing the submenu items in my website. I tried to deactivate all plugins but it doesn’t help to solve the issue.
Please help me with this because I just can’t figure out what is causing this issue.
Thanks!

January 10, 2018 at 17:00 #185397RaduModeratorHi,
Cannot take a look at your website, did you had any firewall or country restriction ? if yes allow romania as country
Also you can try to de-activate all plugins + child theme, then to test.
Let me know
Cheers

I did the following:
1) Deactivate all plugins and not solved the issue
2) Deactivate child theme and activate main themeWith option 2 the main menu did work right!
Regarding the country or firewall, I would need your IP number to check availability, with my server provider.
Thanks!

I still need to solve it as far the child theme has a different design customization than main theme. When I activate child it doesn’t shows the main menu subitems 🙁
January 13, 2018 at 23:11 #185748gfranco123ParticipantSo, yes I need your IP to allow it to visit the website…
January 16, 2018 at 16:43 #185944RaduModeratorHi,
The theme settings from parent and child are separated, example : if you have child theme activated and you have made your theme adjustments using the child theme, when you activate the parent theme the theme options remain in child theme to can have that in both variants you should import from child theme to parent theme the theme settings that can be imported/exported from wp-admin -> theme options -> import/export.
So, settings from child to parent and vice-versa are separated, you will have to import the theme settings from one to another.
So not sure if you will still need my ip but the IP it’s 5.12.71.105 ( it’s a dynamic IP )
Cheers

I allowed my server to let you check our website. Please take a look and confirm.
Regarding the child-main theme, I think the better option is to keep changes in child, because if I do in parent, potential updates of the template may cancel the design customization.
What we need is to make work properly the main menu subitems, please could you help with this? I just can’t figure out why this issue is doing this with the menu subitems.
Thanks!
January 19, 2018 at 17:55 #186283RaduModeratorHi,
While debugging the firewall seems to blocking me, but i’ve figured out that if i change to parent theme it works, but the odd thing it’s you child theme it’s clean.
My current ip it’s : 5.12.71.105 it may change randomly by the isp or when the router reboots.
Cheers

Now I see my site showing the parent theme without the customization design.
There is a way to solve the issue within the child theme?
Thanks!
January 22, 2018 at 16:17 #186579RaduModeratorHi,
Fixed, you’re using child theme, it was solved.
The option “Compact overflow menu items” seems to cause that (wp-admin -> theme options -> Header options) , i’ve switched off.
It’s ok now
