Hello KLEO!
I am translating your theme and the placeholder for search fields I cannot seem to translate from Loco Translate.
Can you add the To and From string to the translate files?
Or how should I translate so that when you update the theme my transltion does not disappear?
Do I need to copy the file to KLEO child?
Thanks for the help!

Thanks for contacting us about translations. When using Loco Translate you are able to make translations for plugins, themes and WordPress regardless of the theme that is active so any update will not overwrite any changes you made – however you should check after an update if there are new strings to translate by syncing your translation again.
From the screenshot I cannot tell immediately what you’re trying to translate, if this is something that is generated by the BP Profile Search you will need to translate that plugin through Loco Translate.
Kieran.

As I wrote it in my ticket I would like to translate the ‘To’ and ‘From’ string in the search form placeholder. Please read the ticket I write, please.
On the image there are only to English words: To and From.It is not in the plugins translation, I have chekced it and already contacted them.
It turns out it is in your bps-forms-legacy.php. I can rewrite the .php file, but I woud be happier to tranlte this in Loco Translate. However, in the KLEO Loco tranlate file I cannot find these 2 strings. So please add it to the translate file.
Or if not, then my question was: if I rewrite the .php file should I save it the KLEO child theme in order to keep it during an update?
THanks

But still the 2 strings could be in the translate .po file.CHeers.

My apologies, I misunderstood your original query. Glad you have it sorted for now and I will add this ticket to a list of improvements in KLEO for a future release – thanks for your feedback.
