Mobile issues with menu and hover boxes

There’s an issue with second level menu not opening on mobile, and the button on hover box is not working either.

We are using the latest version of the theme, testing on iPhone 6 & 8.

Attached screenshots are from a simulator, but the issue was checked on actual devices and those elements do not work.

Please try to deactivate additional plugins and the child theme.

After you have disabled the plugins and child theme try to see if the error persists.

If you looked at the site with credentials I provided, you know that we’re using Geo Directory with your theme with Kleo Child activated.

Following your instructions, we started to deactivate plugins.

Once Geo Directory was deactivated, the site crashed showing Fatal Error
Fatal error: Call to undefined function geodir_is_page() in …./caribbeanfyi/wp-content/themes/kleo-child/inc/geodirectory-compatibility.php on line 547.

After restoring the site, we deactivated the Kleo Child theme first. With Kleo parent theme activated, we were able to deactivate all plugins.

We left WP Bakery Page Builder activated since the Hover Box shortcode is part of it. The button on Hover box on mobile still did not work.

Lastly, we proceeded to test the Page Builder with the default TwentySeventeen theme. The hover box would not even flip on mobile, assuming due to modifications you’ve made for the Kleo theme.

PROBLEM REMAINS: Hover Box does not link on mobile devices regardless of theme (parent or child). What is the solution?

If you have any input for the fatal error that was caused by deactivating Geo Dir plugin while using Kleo Child, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

For the issue with geodir it looks to comes from child theme where some custom changes had been maden, the issue occurs cuz you had activated the theme before the plugin.

For the hover box button issue try to add this css to wp-admin -> them options -> general options -> quick css
COPY CODE
```
.vc-hoverbox-block-inner .vc_btn3 {
    pointer-events:all !important;
    display: block !important;
    z-index: 9999 !important;
}
```
Let me know, anyway if still not works just enable wp default theme and check if the button works with default it may be directly from VC that thing.

Unfortunately, your fix did not work.

I activated the default TwentySeventeen theme. The hover box does not work. So looks like it’s a VC problem. However, didn’t you modify the hover box shortcode and added more options for Kleo theme?

Hi,

We haven’t touched the hover box, so if you see the same issue using other theme than KLEO the issue seems to be related to module itself or VC.
