Can not Import Buddypress profile fields

Hi,

Import Buddypress profile fields

+ Buddypress installed, setting done. Tested deactive/delete, install again still issue

+ Only install required plugin of theme

+ Imported success demo

=== Issue messege ==

Sweetdate/buddypress/

Could not import. Please make sure you have Buddypress installed and activated.

How to fix this please?

Hi. it seem appear that, but i checked, some extra profile feild appear successed even warning message like that.

i got issue of homd page.
bp search installed + main search/horizontal in buddypress checked all of them.
but when i import demo i got empty data user/profile search

but issue still there, after all setting as video guide

Hi.

I feel understand question

1) Is the theme build in chat? (I’m going to buy chat plugin, would like to confirm first)
2) Do you sale profile demo package? Handy to build starter profile for web is too much time, i wonder if you also sale demo profile package.
3) Is the theme have 404 page? Or i have to self create 404 page?

Hello 🙂
1- The theme does not include any chat plugin, as you can see in the demo website, but you can use any chat plugin
2- The profiles are real people that is why we can’t export them
3- Yes the theme has a designed 404 page

Hi.

I created menu and sub menu, which is appear correct when i’m login

But when none loggin, the menu appear as screenshot, all appear as parents menu items. The menu conflict with buddypress plugin, which i tested deactive one by one plugin. How to fix this please?

4) Hi, can you provide a code or add build in function limited/maximum string “About me” in xprofile. I checked, if user write long, it can broken web design.

I found these, as no coder, i dont know how to correct it. About me id field = 211. Please help.

Hi,

1) How do i disabled Main Navigation “smart menu” (which is main menu –> become dropdown menu) ? I only have contact and forum button. Which is perfect match in any device without become dropdown.

2) Defaul laptop screen profile display:
Avarta + button 1 –> add friends
+ button 2 —> send private message

BUT after it become small screen, become
Avarta
+button 1
+botton 2

==> I changed avarta only 80x80px (Because your defaul size is too big), which is perfect for small device.
I added:
display: inline-block !important; for avarta + button 1 + button 2

==> Issue. Button always display under avarta in small screen, which leaved me around 50% free space on right hands, which is enough for button, why the button always down under avarta?
BUT after it become small screen, become
Avarta
+button 1
+botton 2

==> SO. How do i get it display as bellow in small screen?
Avarta + button 1 –> add friends
+ button 2 —> send private message

3) I hope you dont mind. I really like the Live Notification of BuddyApp. Can you provide me code add to child theme? (I know after add code to child theme, there is also code <?php… add to header to make it work in right position, which i know how to do after you provide me code then)
–> If you agree, how much do you count me for provide Live Notification for Sweetdate?

1- This is made by default to ensure the menu is available and visible for any device, to edit that you would need to change how the menu works on mobile and only a developer can do that
2- Can you share a screenshot? As i can’t view your site, i need to know how you want it to look and how it looks now to create a code for you 🙂

For this issue its basic SEO, please install yoast seo plugin ( the free one is enough ) and go to your Home Page, click edit and you should see YOAST SEO options, add page name, description and the image. This is what social media will use when you share the domain 🙂

i am getting the same error when trying to import buddypress fields from the theme options how do i get the form to show on the home page? The error is “Could not import. Please make sure you have Buddypress installed and activated.”

I managed to fix this by going to Appearance > Theme Setup instead of straight to the theme options > BuddyPress settings.
