Do I have to use the Childs theme to use the pro membership pro? Also do I have to create a page for members? and how come when I create a new page, there is already content on there that I can’t edit?
March 14, 2018 at 20:36 #191758LauraModeratorHello,the child theme is used to store changes so you should have it activated from the beginning, because if you do any change directlt to theme files, they would be lost at any update. Child theme is used to add the files you want to edit so they are not lost.
You can use paid memberships pro anytime the theme doesnt matter.
The members page, profile page and any page of buddypress is generated automatically,so it cant be edited as a normal page.
To assign a page for members ( which will be replaced with generated content ) go to Settings > Buddypress > Pages
