Hi I am using the Kleo registration shortcode on my sign up page https://kawaii.com/signup

I found this very handy plugin calledĀ “WordPress Username Availability Checker”

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/bpdev-username-availability-checker/

But it doesn’t work with the shortcode form. Is there a simple way to make it work for Kleo (it works on the standard registration form).

If it is a lot of hazzle, than I would like to submit this as an improvement idea for the Kleo theme.

The basic idea is that you can check if a username is available and it also tells you if you are entering the username in a wrong way (not enough characters, empty space not allowed etc.)

Currently when my user fill out the entire registration page and the username is already claimed, simply nothing happend. The user doesn’t know why the registration was not successful. He/she enters the same details again, same effect, after that evtl. the person decides not to join the page. Thats why this plugin is really great.
