    Good evening,

I am trying to create a new advance search following the steps in “How to Add an Advanced Search at Members Directory” tutorial, however I did not succeed to make it work. More, the profile view of an user logged completely disapeared. Also, if I tried to create a new user, after I fill in the basic information from Sign up form I am directed to the Register form with content from picture AdSearch7 below. The register form with the additional fields to complete the registration is not appearing anymore.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello, please make sure the pages are selected at Settings – Buddypress – pages and try to use the main theme to see if the issue is related with the advanced search code

    Hi Laura,

Many thanks for the help. I have done what you mentioned.
    1. Pages are selected (see attachement AdvSearch1.jpg).
    2. I have activated the main theme and everything looks fine (see attachement AdvSearch2.jpg and AdvSearch3.jpg).

In my opinion it has something to do with the way how the advance search was implemented. Not sure what I did wrong but it looks something I did.

    Thanks

Hello, the file is not well located, it should be sweetdate-child/buddypress/members/members-loop.php and its sweetdate-child/members/members-loop.php

    Hi Laura,

Thanks a lot, I have done the changes you mentioned and functionality is back. However, I can see now everything coming doubled -> the advanced searched as well as the results (see attached). Do you know why?

    Thanks for your help.

Hello, replace the members-loop.php content again with the one at the guide and change the search shortcode again, lets see if that works 🙂
