Hello,
some time ago I have asked if there will be a solution for the enforcement to upload a picture when a new user registers. Unfortunately I still have this issue and I get quite a lot of negative response.
So how can I get rid of this issue?
Thank you very much for your support & best regards,

If you want to force users to upload an image use this plugin : https://buddydev.com/plugins/bp-force-profile-photo/ if you don’t de-activate it

Please feel free and register for testing and you will see what I mean.
Best regards

In first place update the theme and the plugins to latest version.
Then switch off all plugins excluding buddypress then de-activate the child theme purge all cache like cloudflare or others.
Let me know if it’s the same please provide to me into a private reply wp admin and FTP.
Cheers

I see that just i’ve registered new account and i see that, i’ve seen also there is no plugin “bp profile force photo” but i’ve seen the same on the buddypress forums and there can be possible to have that plugin located in the mu-plugins folder.Anyway this is not a theme issue it’s comes from that plugin , are you running multisite install ? if yes check for network activated plugin.

Thank you anyway for your help.

“This is not a feature of BuddyPress, there must be something in your setup that is requiring this, in other words you must have specific code that is requiring this as far as I’m aware.”
So I honestly ask myself where this specific code is hidden . . . .
April 23, 2018 at 18:03 #195809RaduModeratorHi,
Did you encounter the same issue even if you are running other theme ? like the default wp one! ?
Did you had looken manually in the /wp-content/plugins and wp-content/mu-plugins for that plugin ? “bp-force-profile-photo” ? if there is not chcek the bp-config.php file and the functions.php file from child theme, rename those files to something like functions.php.backup and bp-custom.php.backup

April 24, 2018 at 14:58 #195902RaduModeratorCheck if it haves any options to check/uncheck if doesn’t have just de-activate it.
