A few questions that I would like to ask:
- Is there a way to force new users to complete their whole profile when signing up? or at least force them to complete fields that I can pre-determine?
- Currently in a persons profile, it shows their messages. It shows the different message threads that you can click on to view your messaging with one person. Currently, if the message exchange is quite long, a user needs to scroll all the way down to the bottom to see the most recent message. Is there a way to reverse the display order so the most recent response it at the top…as well as the reply box?
- if point 1 above is not feasible, are you aware of any rewards or points add-ons that can be used with this theme? For example, if a user adds a profile image, they earn X amount of points or if they complete this portion of their profile they get this many points. In turn, these points could go as a credit towards their membership?
Thanks for any feedback,
Abe

How do I make other user profile fields in other groups (ie: myself summary, looking for etc.) appear on the signup? I have set most of the items in these groups as “required”, but when I tried to create a dummy account, it did not prompt me to fill out these fields.
Also, I did find you answered my force a photo question earlier – I just downloaded that plugin you suggested in a previous ticket.

I will reply in the same format as above for ease of tracking
1. By default the fields in the first tab only will be shown on the BuddyPress register page. However, with a premium plugin it is possible to build out your own registration form that has all of the required or non required fields that you desire on your form in an order that you choose. If this is of interest to you then you can find more information at https://www.gravityforms.com
2. I think it would be possible to reverse the order and place the reply box at the top. You can see how this was done here https://gist.github.com/shanebp/3d04465213e99665e512. At the moment we would consider this to be custom development due to the amount of coding and time it would take to achieve this – if you’re not comfortable coding in PHP and HTML then you would need to hire a developer to achieve this for you. If you wish you can email one of our own developers to discuss your needs dev@seventhqueen.com.
With that said I think this is a great idea and I would encourage you to open a new public ticket with a descriptive title and as much information as how this would work visually in the body of the ticket and I will be happy to move this into feature suggestions for community voting.
3. You may be interested in GamiPress https://wordpress.org/plugins/gamipress/ which is a relatively new plugin with a lot of support from other major plugins. I cannot confirm if this works with our themes as I have yet to try it out, but it looks theme agnostic so it should work. By the looks of it you can (please confirm this with the developer) collect points and use them for payments within WooCommerce. If this is the case then you can use this plugin to collect the points, Paid Memberships Pro for the restrictions and WooCommerce as the payment option for Paid Memberships Pro.
4. Glad you have found a solution for the profile image on signup.
Hope this helps,
Kieran
