    Hello,

    I’ve searched, but haven’t found.

I’m creating a membership site whereby members can post one to three event listings that would appear on the front page.  My question:  Am I able to define parameters to create event listings like this within a ‘post’?  If so, please describe how to do this?  Also, to have the ability to quantify these ‘posts’ (desired event listings!), say limit to two, then an added fee for a third listing.  Maybe this isn’t really a ‘post’ but something else… a plug in?

Within the membership area, ‘posts’ are permitted, but not to appear on the front page.  (So what ‘feature’ to load the ‘event listings’ into for the front page?)

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!  Thank you & have a great day!

Hello, the frontpage if you are using a post grid or any element that loads posts you can just edit the element and at query select also PAGE or any other custom post type. It works with any.

    How you could do this:
Installing Social Articles will allow your users to post articles from their profile. If you setup Social Articles to post them at a specific post category like “EVENTS” they will post it there. However it wont have any special formatting for an event, just a simple post.

Also it doesnt have a limit option without custom coding.

Another option which does have event formatting is https://wordpress.org/plugins/buddypress-simple-events/
But you will always need custom coding to limit entries
