ParticipantI can’t see any photos in the Mediapress gallery for myself or any of my users. They are still there (I can see them on the admin Dashboard), but not visible on the site. I tried deactivating all the plugins and it didn’t fix it. Any idea?

ParticipantHi Laura, I don’t think so. My dashboard says that I still have my Kleo child theme active. Any other ideas?

ParticipantThat fixed it, but I lost all my child theme edits. How do I transfer the appearance edits that I made? Also, I thought that you weren’t supposed to make edits to the main theme? Thanks for your help, I’m still really new to all this.

ModeratorHello, its just to check where the issue comes from, if the main theme with 0 changes fixes it, that means the child theme changes are creating the error, so you need to check your changes done to the child theme files in order to find the issue

ParticipantI don’t understand because I haven’t made any changes to my child theme in a long time. Where do you recommend that I look for issues on my dashboard?

ParticipantHi Laura! Any luck yet with figuring out what the issue could be?
June 4, 2018 at 22:29 #199909Laura
ModeratorHello, the issue seems to be directly from mediapress, so my suggestion is to contact their support or use rtmedia as this one works correctly

ParticipantThanks for your response! I think it’s actually a theme issue because my “notification” tab is doing the same exact thing. Can you please take a look?

ModeratorHi,
Ok, child theme it’s needed when you really need to overwrite php files, if you don’t need that don’t use child, just parent
Cheers
