    Hi,

In other words you ask if it’s possible to generate a layout for single posts with visual composer and to be used on every new post ? if yes, automatically you cannot… you can post all posts with visual composer keeping the same post structure to make them to look the same…or you can save a post template and to load mannualy template before wirtting the post https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/using-toolset-with-wpbakery-page-builder/create-templates-for-custom-post-types/

    Cheers

    Thanks Kieran e Radu

    Radu, i got your explanation.

My objective to solve the actual layout of my single.php cause I’m using social article and after publish a article, the layout is not good.

For this reason, i would like to know if there is a way to change the layout to a nice one.

Is there another easy way? Because if a user publish a article, I think that he will have difficult to change to another template.

    Hi,

Without custom code development no you cannot easily, implies lot of hours of work, i can tell you how this can be done.

Maybe there will be needed to duplicate the wp-content/themes/kleo/content.php file in child theme wp-content/themes/kleo-child/content.php here in the file you will have to render some shortocodes that visual composer generates and inside them to add in the area for text in the place where the featured image it’s displayed you will have to add

Maybe there should be done more… depends the complexity of your need, this (programmatic way) cannot be cover by our support, you will have to hire a developer

    Radu,

    Thanks your answer!

I did not imagine it would be so complex, cause the changes i wanna to do is simples, like change the size and local of the image, change font, change the information of author… in fact, i thought that way is a simple change like create a new page with visual composer and use it like a template or even CSS.

    Thanks again!

Yes… in this case you can follow the guide from visual composer team it should fit for your needs but it’s not programmatically added :

    https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/using-toolset-with-wpbakery-page-builder/create-templates-for-custom-post-types/

    Hi,

    I see,

The enscia link offers 404 but i understand you are referring to a blog single post to look like wpmudev blog post style, i had explained what are the available options to acheive that.

My recommendation it’s to try yourself to do a template in visual composer then to apply it for all future posts

    https://wpbakery.com/video-academy/use-templates-wpbakery-page-builder/

I don’t have in depth step by step instructions to can create a custom post layout in visual composer to provide. I can guide you like how i had done already.

You can ask the same question on visual composer support or forums if they have, they should be more familiarized with the product.

    Cheers
