Hi,
Recently one person signed up to the site and specifically targeted few of the members and commented bad words on the site activity.
- Is there any way to stop commenting on site activity feed?
- What are the other ways to block comments that have bad words?

Hi,
You can use https://wordpress.org/plugins/bp-block-users/ to temporarily block the user. However, if they’re that destructive to your community, you may wish to just delete them.
For censorship of profanity in BuddyPress you may wish to try https://wpgoplugins.com/plugins/content-censor/. I cannot verify this third party plugin and you absolutely should speak to the developer before.

Thanks a lot for the suggestions. I will check. I think when the members are increasing we need to deactivate the site activity. On Facebook only own activity and friends activity shows on the wall. Can we do the same in Buddypress?

I wouldn’t recommend disabling the activity component of BuddyPress as it would disable all activity site wide.

In that case, I think it is better to remove the ‘activity’ page from the menu. So that it won’t disable any function and won’t show the site wide activity to the members. What do you say about it?
