    Hello! Using Cloudflare, I discovered that some avatars are not showing. All those people are registered using Facebook buttons (look at the screenshot). Do know what can be the reason of this issue? After I disabled CloudFlare all start working well. Maybe I must change my Total Cache plugin? What Cache plugin you recommend?

    Also, I had a problem with the slider. Twice this day it disappeared from my home page and my home page looks bad because of that. But every time after I cleared Page Cash – the slider comes back

    Hmm. I checked several times my website and it seems that the Facebook avatar problem is happening in Firefox but not in Chrome. I cleared the cache in Firefox. I disabled TOtal Cache and Cloudflare. I disabled all my plugins – did not help. Please check this problem using Firefox

    Hi,

    I have checked your site in Firefox and Chrome but I do not see that issue. I do however see a micro delay in rendering some avatars. When I check the avatars with the delay I can see they’re Facebook users. Are you using an Ad Blocker of any kind? If so, try disabling it and testing again.

    It’s also possible that Firefox has cached old files or has a minor corruption in the content it has cached. Please try completely purging Firefox data except for form data and passwords, restart the browser and try again.

    With regards to the slider please try adding the below paths to the exclusion lists for your caching plugin and in CloudFlare.

    COPY CODE
    https://animematch.com/wp-content/plugins/revslider/public/assets/js/jquery.themepunch.tools.min.js
    https://animematch.com/wp-content/plugins/revslider/public/assets/js/jquery.themepunch.revolution.min.js
    https://animematch.com/wp-content/plugins/revslider/public/assets/css/settings.css

    Make sure to completely purge both website cache and CDN after saving these changes.

    Thanks,

    Kieran

    1) Can you give advice where I could find these exclusion lists in Total Cache plugin and in CloudFlare?

    2) Can you also tell how to disable meta info for the blog posts (for the author, etc, except “category”)

    3) Please try to close Radu’s ticket too. He almost solved my problem, but as usually finished till the Thusday. The name of the ticket “Several issues for a Profile Search”. It started JULY 2, 2018 AT 21:56 (#202723)

    Hi,

    1. Please check this post on excluding files with page rules for CloudFlare https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/200172316-How-do-I-exclude-a-specific-URL-from-Cloudflare-s-caching-. With regards to excluding them from your caching plugin please check the plugin documentation or reach out directly to their support team for assistance with their plugin.

    2. There currently is not a theme setting for this. However, you can use the below custom CSS to remove all bar the category. Please add this to WP Admin > Appearance > Editor > SweetDate Child > Style.css and clear your cache to see changes.

    COPY CODE
    .article-meta .link-list li:nth-child(1) {display: none;}
    .article-meta .link-list li:nth-child(2) {display: none;}
    .article-meta .link-list li:nth-child(4) {display: none;}
    .article-meta .link-list li:nth-child(5) {display: none;}

    3. I will review the ticket currently held with one of our developers Radu and reply if appropriate. More advanced tickets and tickets regarding bugs are referred to Radu due to his development background.

    Thanks,

    Kieran

    1) I made as you told. Hope it will help. Is this problem always with the slider? Today my website works with Cloudflare enabled and all was ok. Right now I enabled Total Cache plugin and do as you said. If after adding recommended paths to the exclusion lists for my caching plugin will be enough to solve slider problem, can I not to add these lines in Cloudflare’s lists? Because with CloudFlare plugin slider works for me… Or it works only temporary

    2) It works well.

    3) The ticket with Radu is about some CSS solution of hiding New Profiles (below the Profile search of the Homepage) in the desktop version of the Profile search only. I want to keep it in the mobile version and in the registration form.

    Hi,

    1. The problem arises from the way these plugins and services recompile JS and CSS files and often you’ll find they do not work when compiled with other files of the same type. In these cases they should be excluded from the plugin or service that has the issue with compiling them.

    If adding these files to your caching plugin is enough to sort the issue then there is no need to add them to CloudFlare also.

    4. Please go through the settings for the plugin, clearing your website cache and front-end cache each time to check for a conflict with a particular option. If there is nothing specific in there then I would suggest reaching out directly to the plugin developer about the plugin blocking images coming from graph.facebook.com in FireFox only.

    Thanks,

    Kieran
