How could I show the value of a custom field instead of the avatar when showing new members ?
August 3, 2018 at 17:53 #205338RaduModeratorHi,
Not understand fully what you need to do
Where more exactly the avatar appears in that scenario ? Only for new ? for oldest members no ?
Explain better the scenario with screenshot highlighting areas.
Cheers

In fact I would like to be able to show somewhere on the frontpage 3 or more “members”, with more information than just the avatar.
1-For exemple, I would like to show the city (or some custom field) where people live just below their avatar.
2- Also in the scenario above, I would like to choose to show only some members : the ones with a specific subscription.
3-If possible also : name (or some custom field) could replace avatar. In that particular case, avatars do not show up at all, neither for new members, nor for old ones
Could you please advise how to do that ?
thanks
August 6, 2018 at 17:23 #205575RaduModeratorHi,
I see now, all changes that you need may be done by pasting and modifying exacly as you need the next code
code : https://pastebin.com/raw/7xaPyPsv
So the code will be pasted under wp-content/themes/sweetdate-child/functions.php
So there i don’t have specific stepts to offer for points 1,2 and 3 since it’s a little custom.
The changes will be maden in the highlited funciton in functions.php from child.
You can inspire from here to can pull some profile fields informations
