Homepage Redirect Not Working

Hi, for caspergrey.net, I have it set up so that the “Register” page is the home page. Then, in theme options –> micellaneous –> homepage redirect, I chose “redirect to current user profile or author page”.

In general, this works. However when I set the home page as “Register”, this does not work, and instead it redirects to the “Members” page (which I do not want to happen).

So far I have tried “BP Profile as Homepage” plugin, BP Redirect to profile plugin, Peter’s Login Redirect, but as long as the home page is “Register” anytime someone logged in goes to caspergrey.net .. they end up on the members page (rather than on there profile, which is what the setting is in theme options –> micellaneous –> homepage redirect.

I’m not sure what the issue is, but it seems to be directly related to the fact that I have “register” as the home page. Is there anything I can do here? I really want to keep “register” as the home page, and I really want logged in members to end up back on their profile (if they go to caspergrey.net while already logged in). Maybe there is some kind of code to force users back to their profile no matter what whenever they’re logged in and try going to caspergrey.net ? Let me know what I can do, thank you!
