Hi,
Once again, we are unable to update the Kleo theme. Every time there is a new release, we have problems updating the software. Error this time: Update Failed: Download failed. Problem downloading there.
The older version of the theme conflicts with The Events Calendar plugin.
How can we update the theme?
Thanks!

Envato changed their mechanism update and the updates will be madden only through their plugin.
Just check this guide : https://archived.seventhqueen.com/general/article/update-themes-automatically-using-envato-market-plugin
IF also this method fails the last one always works
Manually update theme by FTP.
– Connect to your server.
– Go to wp-content/themes/ and copy “kleo” folder to your computer so you have a backup of your old files.
– Extract kleo.zip that you have downloaded from Themeforest. Make sure the resulting “kleo” folder has a style.css in it. Delete on your server all files inside wp-content/themes/kleo and then copy all files inside “kleo” folder to your server in wp-content/themes/kleoLast step is to go in WP Admin – Theme options and save the options since some dynamic elements might have been added and to make sure you get the latest styling.
Cheers

When I tried updating the theme from the website, the notification said it was successful. But I never confirmed the version number.
I am in the backend today and I see that the theme has not updated. When I try, I receive an error that the ‘a valid url was not provided’. I am not sure what that means.
I will try updating it through FTP. I am a bit disappointed at the amount of work required to update the Kleo theme now.
I will let you know if the update is successful.

Not sure exactly why that , please follow the next method, this way always works.
You can do it in easy steps
1. GO to wp-admin -> Theme options -> import/export -> download data file (this in case the theme settings are not keeping, in general they are keepen)
2. GO to wp-admin -> appearance -> themes, activate twenty seventeen, then delete KLEO theme.
3. Re-download the KLEO theme from your theme forest account.
4. Upload from wp-admin -> appearance -> themes -> add new -> the new downloaded kleo version.
Having this step by step guide you should be able do handle the theme file upload, if you cannot you will need to hire a developer that can do those steps for you.

I have been able to manually update the Kleo theme. Now the main navigation menu does not appear for visitors who are not logged in. I have re-added the menu settings.
Do you have any suggestions?
Thank you,

Are you somehow restrict the wp menu for logged-in , non-logged in ? If yes tell me how ? with a plugin or code snippet ?
If you are disabling all plugins it appears ?
If you disable child theme it appears ?
Let me know

We are using the Paid Membership Pro plugin and its add on PMP Nav Menus Add On. These menus were displaying until the most recent release of the Kleo theme. I disabled the child theme it did not appear. I switched to Twenty Seventeen and the menus displayed properly for non-logged in visitors and logged in members.
There is not an error in the console log. I deactivated and reactivated the Nav Menu plugin but it did not do anything. Also, the styling for the nav menu when logged in has reverted to a default style. The theme seems to be overriding the Nav Menu Add on plugin.
Thank you!
